چکیده :
Random Access Memory (RAM) is a fundamental component of modern computational systems, enabling the high-speed storage and retrieval of data. Given the challenges associated with CMOS technology, Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA), with its advantages of improved energy consumption and increased speed, has attracted researchers' attention as an alternative technology for RAM design. The capability of the Gate Diffusion Input (GDI) technique in reducing circuit complexity, lowering power consumption, and minimizing the number of transistors required for logical operations in CMOS technology has led to the proposal of an enhanced GDI block using the tail design method, which is noise-free and full swing type. In this paper, three memory circuits based on MUX were designed and simulated. The simulation of the circuits using QCADesigner 2.0.3 and the calculation of their energy consumption by QCAPro with default parameters indicate a fundamental improvement in cell count, occupied area, cost, and energy consumption compared to the best existing designs.
