Design and Simulation of a New Multiplexer with Energy Analysis in Quantum Cellular Automata Technology

Abstract :
Quantum Cellular Automata (QCA) represent a new nano-technology, emerging as a suitable alternative to CMOS technology. Its high operational frequency and extremely small nano-scale dimensions, coupled with very low power consumption, are features that make this technology stand out, attracting significant attention from researchers. Optimizations in this technology include reducing the number of used cells and circuit area, minimizing input-to-output delay, and creating fault-tolerant models. In this paper, after introducing QCA technology, a new multiplexer circuit is proposed and presented. The results of simulating the proposed circuit demonstrate the improvements and efficiency of the presented design
